The 2025 macbook air did edge out the acer in geekbench pro, our broadest cpu. Even if you are between m3 macbook pro 8 gigs and m1 air 16 gigs, m1 16 is a better choice. I agree with quinn 100% on this one, there is no objective reason to go with the m2 air.
